Features beautifully shaped arms with elegant baluster supports and matching baluster-turned front legs. The cresting rail is richly carved with an eye-catching geometric design, adding plenty of character. The back is constructed with five finished panels, meaning the bench can be freestanding as well as positioned against a wall.
The bench is currently in original condition and has not yet undergone any restoration. Before it leaves our workshop in Stafford, we will carry out some careful sympathetic restoration, or, as we like to say, a little bit of "fettling" - staining, waxing and smoothing of the edges.
