Have you heard of Grinling Gibbons? Because the man who carved this must be a distant relative! The quality and the detail is premier division. I’m thinking that it is possibly Scottish or from the North of England, because the two panels that run across the top I believe to be heather, which makes me think north of England or Scotland!
Would be great as a centrepiece in a room, this is a real talking point and an eyeful. It is ABSOLUTLEY wonderful!
