Located at 60 Hope Street in Liverpool’s historic Georgian Quarter, The Dog & Collar isn’t just a pub... it’s a celebration of community, craft & character. Following an extensive refurbishment, the 200-year-old venue reopened its doors at the end of 2024 with a new vision: to become a true “public house and loyal friend.”
We were proud to play a part in bringing that vision to life by supplying a range of bespoke furniture pieces, as well as supplying and restoring antique & reclaimed furniture showcased throughout the space.
The Dog & Collar is divided into three thoughtfully designed spaces: the bustling Taproom, the welcoming Tavern, and the refined Dining Room. Each requiring its own distinct furniture identity. Working closely with the design team at Studio R2A, we curated a package that reflects the building’s layered history and modern hospitality standards.
Each piece was handcrafted and finished in our workshop, ensuring both durability and design integrity.
Helmed by Great British Menu 2025 chef Livia Alarcon, The Dog & Collar’s food offering is grounded in fire, smoke, and the best of British produce.
The furniture had to match that level of detail: classic, inviting and made to last. Whether guests are enjoying a pre-theatre small plate in the Dining Room, watching the match in the Tavern, or settling into a snug corner of the Taproom, the furniture enhances the overall experience. Wood finishes, aged patinas and bespoke detailing make every seat part of the story!
