Our Pendle high bar stool is a good quality, locally made steel stool which has a small footprint and would look great in many interiors.
Martin's story behind the Pendle stool:
"Okay I admit you can’t get it right all the time, but I still don’t understand where I went wrong… About 2 years ago the inspiration came from six iron bar stools I bought which I’m sure dated from the 1930’s & I loved them! They were solid, stable & the weight and balance were perfect. The foot rail was just at the right height to ease yourself up and down... Market research ….what’s that? So, I went to my local fabricator called Kevin and I had 65 made. I then went to see my friend Steve who does my Powder Coating to ask for a price from him and finally I asked Julie in my upholstery department how much she would charge to make a seat pad in various coloured leather!
They were £170.00 + VAT, but now they are discounted to £95.00 + VAT, which includes upholstery in a stock leather or fabric. We need the space!"
