A great set of six 1920's oak dining chairs (4 dining chairs and 2 armchairs).
They are lovely quality with lots of interesting detailing. Namely... small carved decoration on the top corners of the back. Lovely shaped and reeded arm supports, quality carving to the front baluster legs and thumb nail carved decorated rail in the back. A sledge stretcher that sits on the floor ...the best place and makes the chair so so solid. They are upholstered in a quality brown leather with large bold studs.
They are strong enough to last in their present condition for some time, they have lasted for about 100 years now and that sledge base does make a difference. So, you might like to buy them as is and let us just check them over and wax and polish. If we do that, they can be £145.00 + VAT for the carvers and £125.00 + VAT each for the chairs.
