I just love the Arts and Crafts period. The hand-crafted items that came from that era are delightful. This little table is no exception. Made from solid oak and having a carved heart to each of the trestle ends, a pegged stretcher for additional strength, all make this a lovely traditional piece of English furniture.
The patina and colour of the timber is also a great feature of this quality table.
We will check it over, wax it up, protecting and enhancing that character before it leaves our warehouse in Stafford.
