This is a very good looking 1920s oak draw-leaf table. This table, with the leaves closed, is a very generous and comfortable two-seater dining table. When the two leaves are extended it then becomes a very generous six-seater dining table.
We would check over the base to make sure it is sturdy, overstain, wax and polish. All of the surfaces on the top of the table would be stripped, stained and lacquered. To the underside of the centre, we would put green baize to protect the two leaves when they are extended.
So, in a nutshell, when this leaves our warehouse in Stafford, it will be absolutely bob on, and a piece of furniture to be proud of.
