The carpenter that made these stools must have been quite a character. I don’t think I have ever seen anything quite like these in my years as an Antique dealer, I think that’s why I like them so much. The single cabriole leg at the front stands like an Elephants trunk and the back legs and stretchers are well turned. It is finished off with a well carved saddle seat making this a comfy stool.
We will check them over and wax them before it leaves our warehouse in Stafford.
