Late 19th Century/ Early 20th Century Cheesemaking Barrel

Description

This would look great as a prop, to decorate a room. I wouldn’t use it to make butter or cheese, but it would look great in a hall, wedding reception, corner of a room with a big bunch of flowers.

It is very well made. The castings are substantial, the frame is substantial, and the barrel is made of oak with steel banding.

(The price does not include the two rubber trollies underneath, they are there because it is flipping heavy!)
