When I bought these doors they were painted white, so in my wisdom I had them stripped and to my astonishment a number of the doors had been made with varying types of timber. Some panels being in pine and some panels being made of mahogany, which can only lead me to think that the doors were made with the vision of being painted. I now feel that they again could be painted or alternatively set in a row as they would make a fantastic run of very interesting shabby chic looking panelling.
