A very good set of oak framed dining chairs, circa 1920. We have about 48 of these in our warehouse but you don't have to buy all 48 (unless you want to!). All in original condition with connecting stretchers which makes them more robust. The oak frames are a very good quality and have the original colour and finish. But nontheless a lovely high backed chair which if given a good checking over would be great in a restaurant or hotel dining room. After nearly 100 years of use some are a little wonky. I would suggest they are put through our workshop and made sturdier.
We would strip off the upholstery, knock them all apart, redowl the joints, reblock the corners, wipe off the surface grim and carefully rebuild them using a modern day glue. We would then reupholster them in a fabric or leather of your choice and they'd be BOBON and ready for another few years of use.
Please ask for a price to refurbish and reupholster. Price shown is in existing condition.
