A very unusual and interesting pair of late 19th Century single chairs with pierced bentwood ply seats circa 1880.
I like these chairs very much... the colour, the lovely simple turned stretchers and front legs. The patterned bentwood ply seats, the shaped top rail, the brass studding and the over all condition. These chairs were obviously made in a good factory. These are I feel a rare pair of chairs and would grace many situations.
